Thank you for visiting our website and welcome! Since you're new here, why don't we get started by telling you a little bit about us.
The Rock Church of Bangor is a non-denominational church with a fun and friendly atmosphere. The vision of our church is to turn the people of Maine into Wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ, and we do this through contemporary music, relevant messages filled with Truth and hope, and by fostering a sense of purpose and belonging to the family of God through Christ. The Bangor campus of The Rock Church is fairly new, but we've already begun seeing more and more people come to Christ in the short time we've been offering Sunday services. Of course, it'd be great to see you on Sunday - but we're sure you have questions as well. We'll try to answer the most common ones here briefly, but if you'd like more information feel free to explore the menu to your right for an in-depth discussion of what The Rock Church is all about. What time is Saturday and Sunday service? An excellent place to begin! Our Saturday night service is at 5:30pm. We also offer three worship services each Sunday that consist of contemporary music and a weekly message from Pastor Kirk or a guest speaker. The first service is 8:30am and usually lasts about an hour, and there's a time for fellowship afterwards. The second service starts at 10:00am and generally lasts a few minutes longer than the 1st service. The third service is at 11:30. Children's programs will be offered during all services. Where are you? Another excellent question! We're located at 1195 Ohio Street in Bangor, Maine - just 1.8 miles off Interstate 95. Click here to Google map us and get driving directions as well. What about the kids? During our worship service, parents are welcome to involve the kids in our children's programs for pre-schoolers up to 5th graders. If you have any questions at all about them, please feel free to contact us for more information or specific questions. What should I wear?
Who you are is much more important than the clothes you're wearing - casual and comfortable are two of our favorite words. |
